Austin West is a Phoenix based tattoo artist, originally from Wisconsin. With a long standing passion for permanent art, she majored in visual arts in school making her portfolio concentration portraits of people with tattoos. Her paper and canvas work often features animals reflecting romanticism, beauty and emotion. Austin began her career tattooing in 2008, with an eye for color and a love of flora and fauna. Her signature style of watercolor illustrations and botanical inspiration combine for a painterly look that honors saturation and longevity. When not tattooing, Austin enjoys spending time with her son and sister, plein air painting, and fighting the patriarchy.
